To Big Bear from the South
#1: Front Way via Running Springs
This is the most common route and usually the quickest unless there are a lot of people coming up!
Los Angeles:
- 10 East
- 210 North
- 330 East
- In Running Springs, 330 becomes 18 North
- Continue to follow Hwy 18 North
- Go across the lake bridge on Big Bear Blvd/Hwy 18
- To the Robinhood
Orange/San Diego Counties:
- 91 East
- 215 North
- 10 East
- Slight right at Hwy 259 N (signs for Highland/CA-30 E/Mountain Resorts)
- Take the exit onto 210 East
- 330 East
- In Running Springs, 330 becomes 18 North
- Continue to follow Hwy 18 North
- Go across the lake bridge on Big Bear Blvd/Hwy 18
- To the Robinhood
To Big Bear from the South
#2: Back Way via Hwy 38, Alternative from I-10
This way is a little longer but very scenic! Look for waterfalls in the Spring.
From LA/Orange/SD Counties:
- 10 East
- Exit Orange St. North in Redlands
- Follow signs to Hwy 38
- To the Robinhood
From Palm Springs:
- 10 West
- Exit Orange St. North in Redlands
- Follow signs to Hwy 38
- To the Robinhood
To Big Bear from the North
#3: Back Way via Lucerne Valley
From the High Desert:
- 15 to Victorville
- Exit at Bear Valley Road East to Lucerne Valley
- Right on Hwy 18
- To the Robinhood
From Las Vegas:
- 15 South to Barstow
- Take the 247/Big Bear Exit to Lucerne Valley
- Left on Hwy 18
- To the Robinhood
To The Robinhood Resort
From Hwy 18 via Running Springs:
- Follow signs to Big Bear Lake on Hwy 18
- Go straight across the lake bridge
- Continue on Hwy 18 and turn left at the "Village Welcome" sign
- Check-in at the Robinhood Lobby, southwest corner of Big Bear Blvd. and Pine Knot Ave.
From Hwy 38:
- Follow signs to Big Bear Lake Hwy 38
- Turn left onto Hwy 18/Big Bear Blvd.
- Check-in at the Robinhood Lobby, southwest corner of Big Bear Blvd. and Pine Knot Ave.
From Hwy 18 via Lucerne Valley:
- Follow signs to Big Bear Lake on Hwy 18
- Turn left at Division Drive or Stanfield Cut-Off
- Turn right onto Big Bear Blvd.
- Check-in at the Robinhood Lobby, southwest corner of Big Bear Blvd. and Pine Knot Ave.
